A record of what worked and what died in one ordinary flat. It is written in good faith but it is not horticultural advice from a qualified grower, and your conditions differ from ours in ways we cannot see.
Many popular houseplants are toxic if chewed or eaten, and some cause skin irritation when cut. We mention this where we know of it, but this site is not a safety reference. If you have small children or pets, check each species against a veterinary or poison-control resource before bringing it home. We accept no liability for harm arising from a plant discussed here.

We sell no plants, no tools and no courses, and take no affiliate commission. Species are described as they behaved on our windowsills.
