Leaf Ledger is a notebook published as a website. There is nothing to sign up for, no advertising, no analytics and no tracking cookies. Browse the whole site and we learn nothing about you personally.
Standard web-server logs: IP address, time of request, page, referrer and user-agent. They exist so the site stays up and so abuse can be traced. They rotate automatically and are not linked to anything else.
Messages to [email protected] are kept so we can reply, and sometimes so we can revisit a plant problem later. We do not run a newsletter and will not add you to one. Ask us to delete a conversation and we will.
People often attach a picture of a struggling plant. We use it only to answer the question. If we ever wanted to show an example on the site we would ask you first, in that same thread.
The site sits behind a CDN that processes request metadata, including IP addresses, to serve pages and block malicious traffic. Nothing else third-party is embedded — no social widgets, no external fonts, no scripts.
You can ask what we hold, ask for a correction, or ask for deletion. Realistically the only thing we hold is an email you sent us, so such requests are quick to honour.
